This is more of a tribute, than a 'you need to visit this'. That is because the exhibit in discussion is no more, but the 'wait for it' team had an opportunity to visit the "How manga took over the world" exhibit at the Urbis centre. It was amazing and we we're surprised by how well executed and extensive the exhibit actually was.
But forget about us, more about the exhibit. The exhibit is basically about how "manga" and everything to do with it exploded on to the scene and went from a genre of entertainment followed by Japanese school kids to a culture loved by millions across the globe. The exhibit covers almost every aspect of manga, from cyber punk to how manga has had and impact on western art and animation.
