Ozzie checks in... still in the Middle East

After my last post I stopped my "when in Rome, do as the Romans do" mentality and started behaving like a tourist; it severely improved my holiday. I got to see castles, climb mountains, take random buses just to see where they are headed (not smart), go to some cafe with some random live Arab band playing, play football bare foot in some rocks filled pitch (not rocks cocaine)and then cry cos my feet hurt for 2 days straight. Basically, I learnt how to have fun in Yemen.

I'm heading to the capital on Friday, that should be fun. I will be arriving home on the 15th.

Ozzie checks in... Greetings from the Middle East

I just completed 15 days in Yemen which means that I will be home in another 15 days. If you are wondering; yes I do have a nice tan now ;-)

I'm missing out bare in terms of new music, events, fashion, games, internet and everything that is good in life. But I do have an overdose of sunny weather on daily basis. I have been reading books and listening to Moose's Ipod quiet a bit, and when I'm not doing that I'm either napping or chilling outside, in a land where dudes holding hands is cool (No Homo?)

Anyway, I see that Moose ain't been posting a lot *smh*; stop being lazy kid. It is 11 days till my uni results and 14 till I catch my plane, so I better find something to do in the next 10 days. Peace out kids.

I finished exams last Friday (05/06) but I have been busy, I'm leaving to Yemen in Monday so don't expect much posts from me in the coming days, or at all from Monday. However, Moose should hold the site down by posting like a mofo as soon as he finishes exams.

Ozzie Checks in ... The clean room

I have exams* between 22nd May - 5th June, this could affect the frequency of my posts. In preparation for these exams, in a classic Osman fashion, I did nothing so far. but I did spend hours cleaning my room today; it was filthy. I organised all my notes, books, kicks, clothes, magazines and toys. Now it is a better working environment, so I might decide to start revision tomorrow.

Ozzie checks in... The summer ball & Eminem!

Ozzie here, giving you a general update.

Let's start with items bought recently, as I'm trying to keep a low profile with the money situation, not a lot been happening in that department. But I did buy some Sperry Bahama shoes from Wood and our friend Rosie purchased a Reebok girls kicks from there too.

Anyway, last night was my University Summer Ball, I linked up with the rest of the geek squad for a decent night at the Manchester Hilton. The main highlights of the night were my unfortunate ironing accident with my shirt just an hour before the event which caused a rushed journey to Zara and having to change there, in order to make it on time; it worked. Also, we were introduced to a wild side of my Spanish friend Eduardo, it was fun.

After I arrived home, I secured a copy of Em's new album. And after listening to it all morning and afternoon today, I can confidently say that it is excellent. The production on most tracks (if not all) is mind blowing, no surprises here since the good doctor handled all the production. Eminem does his best to do all the beats justice, and it is a success. His wordplay is amazing resulting in an album that makes you laugh, think or just bop your head to the beat, sometimes all three at once. The hooks are all done by Em himself, this is a big plus (I hate RnB hooks). And apart from 50 cent and Dre there is no more guests on the album.

To sum up, life is good and Em's album is fire and this not just fanboy me talking.

Ozzie checks in...

The poll has closed and 13/18 people apparently liked the new layout, I'm sure everyone -just like my partner- did not notice the change and were just being 'nice'. Anyway, let me do a recap of this week so far, I started uni again after the Easter break, which led to a lot of last minute work to meet deadlines, Moose & I decided to buy De La Soul tickets for the 17th of July, but did not buy em' yet (holla at me if you want to join us).

Also, I watched Notorious after putting it off for a long time, it was not as bad as people said but to be honest, however, 'The Wackness' made me want to listen to Biggie more than his own movie, now that is messed up, but on the bright side, you get to see his kid playing him when he was younger and you get to see some BOOBS, but of course his boobs were always bigger than the women he 'makes love' to.

I will be busy this weekend with next week's deadlines, but expect an 'intersting' article soon ;-)

Ozzie checks in... it is about time he did!

Whats good my people, if any of you is still around. I'm blogging again. It has been a long time, but I have my reasons, however, the main cause was the absence of my precious laptop for three whole weeks for 'repairs', MSI took the piss with the duration of repairs, but god bless them, they fixed everything and made me a very happy man.

Speaking of being a happy man, Moose & I spent a week volunteering at the Vitalise Sandpipers center in Southport which was a LOT of fun and we are going back there this summer for two weeks. I will do a post about Vitalise later.

Also, I'm going to go to Yemen for a month this summer, which should be exciting. For those who don't know about Yemen, educate yourself here. Anyway, the purpose of the trip is to visit family and chill in the middle east, cos that place is the bomb, literally.

It has been ages since I posted and to be honest I actually quit this blog, me & Moose -aka JD & Turk- are fuck lazy and after Dizzy left, we could not be arsed with this anymore. We kinda started a mega post then quit half-way (we do that a lot; quitting) I was actually meant to delete this blog ages ago but was too lazy to do so.

Today, I decided that I'll actually carry on with this awesomeness (good news for you) but my posts will be more like this one rather than the usual 'look at this' approach we had going on.

Hey again kids, it has been a long time since I wrote anything, I did however post quiet a bit, but nothing that can be considered as writing. This post is no different.

I'm feeling slightly down and this track kinda matches the mood (it is really good, anyway), check it out, blu is that dude.



Before I sign-out, I want you all to check an album called 'The Death of Adam' by 88-keys, It is too good. Anyone can relate to it, especially if you are a guy. Also, the production and delivery are so different and fun, it tells a different story all the way from track 1 to track 14, all the stories are part of one big story. This album as a whole is an experience that I recommend.

Anyway, I'll try to write more often. I break for Christmas on the 19th, so that should increase my post count.

Ozzie checks in...

It has been a while since I posted, so this is my attempt at getting my post count up.

I have been ill for the past day or so(and still ill). My University work is piling up and I have been neglecting THE blog for a while now. Why?

Well, firstly, I got the new Pro Evolution Soccer on Thursday and it is a known fact that I spent more than half of my teenage years on the game. I will write about it later.

Secondly, there is no 'secondly' that is all I done on the weekend! (I did go out on Saturday though, I'm not that SAD.)

Finally, I'm going to do some work now, I'm planning on an all-nighter, if I do finish work (impossible), I will write a thing or two, it seems like Dizzy been doing all the work around here.
