N.E.R.D - Sooner or Later Video

New video from N.E.R.D. I must admit I really like this even though I am by no means a N.E.R.D fan. But from what I've heard from them, this song has a completly different feel. Great song.

The Beatles Kubricks.

Photobucket
So imagine you're a Beatles fan. Actually forget that imagine you appreciate music and like memorabilia that represents epic moments in the history of it. Actually scratch that imagine you like awesome stuff. Most people do like awesome stuff, so if you're one of those people you'd probably appreciate this. This Kubrick is in memory of the greatest musical act of this century, arguably of all time. But the great part is you don't need to give a damn about the Beatles to like this. It looks really cool, it's a piece of art to an extent. Everything about it from how John has that massive chin and how Ringo's got a huge nose. It's a piece of pop art! So whether you like The Beatles or just appreciate cool stuff, this is your kind of thing.

Fila x 3M

Photobucket
Alot of people are rolling with the 3M material round about this time of year. You know the reflictive material kinda go hard at night times its tough and easy to clean so ideal for boots. Fila has probabaly done the hottest one. Their Melrose boot looks dope , unlike most 3M boots it uses alot of bright colours and it works.

It'll be out on the 10th December, I only know of one place its available and that's in LA. It's very modeslty priced tho at 100$. Available at Sportie La.

props to highsnobs for the pics

UBIQ - Perf Fatima

Photobucket
I quite like these sneaks. It gives you that classic look of a high top sneaker with the feel of a boot. That's exactly what you need in this weather aswell. However I must admit I don't know how affective they would be because they are perforated. But they look hot so who cares.

Like a g-shock

Photobucket
It's a classic and they bringing it back. The casio databank is an old skool classic. Mostly because it helps out in those school maths test. Also if you worried about it not looking hot with your gear, they've bought out 4 new colours and switched up the design just enough. So if you got no watch and a maths test coming, invest!

Space Invaders anyone ?

Photobucket
So recently Comme des Garcons and Arne & Carlos decided to play space invaders. The result was a collaboration knitwear line. They also thought their new line doesn't look jazzy enough yet, so they through some Swarovski crystals on. They look pretty nice and have a retro jumper feel. It's available from the IT store in Hong Kong but beware it ain't cheap.

Louis Vuitton x Stephen Sprouse

Photobucket
Just today I was talking about how good sneakers look on girls. So Louis Vuitton and Stephen Sprouse decided to create a pair which is almost impossible to pull off.
Other than that this collaboration is really good. It's a follow up from the collaboration that went down between them in 01. It utilizes the same graffiti print that was used then. Louis is so appreciative of the collaboration they're launching a website for his art @ welovesprouse.com
Oh and a personal issue I hope Marc Jacobs quits modelling and especially with his clothes off. Dude if you read this (unlikely but ya never know) please stop taking L's you design nice do that.

Mita Sneakers x New Balance

Photobucket
The toe on these sneaks reminds me of some of the best shoes I ever owned (Puma Majesty Special Edition Mid tops). That's where the similarities end though. However I still like these because there's not many shoes that follow a winter festive theme. There's even fewer sneaks that keep your feet warm. So yeah even these may look kinda weird they serve a good purpose. If you like this purpose they'll be available sometime in December.

Nooka 2008 Fall/Winter Watches

Photobucket
Do you dislike second, minute and hour hands? Digital number displays not your thing ? Well don't worry their still is a watch out there for you. The creator of the Nooka brand decided he didn't like the way time was told and decided to do something about it. The result some of the funkiest watches available in the world today. When it comes to creativity and innovation, the design of these time pieces completely shits on established funky watch makers such as Casio and Swatch. If you like the concept and fancy one check out Caliroots.

Suprise !!!!

Photobucket
I really hate Lyle & Scott and that's not because loads of chavs and lames wear it either. I actually dislike it because they charge you a fortune for something that seems like it belongs in Primark but it's worth it because of that gold eagle. However they have surprised me and actually bought out something that look awesome. These jumpers are very dope in my opinion but the only problem is they're only available from Dover street market in London. Due to exclusivity factor they'll probably be a fortune as well. They still know how to rip you off but this time it seems worth it.

My Two Cent on some music.

Photobucket
This is an album review. You might be thinking okay but this isn't any ordinary album review. It's an album review for the most important album of the year. Yes, you guessed it. This is an album review for 808's & heartbreak. Mind you the album cover probably gave it away. However I don't believe it is an exaggeration, 808's may not be the best album of the year but it is probably the most important. Why ? you ask. Well it's simple really, we all want to know how Kanye West follows up the magnum opus known as "Graduation". Not only that you want to know, what the hell is Kanye West doing ? Can he really make a good album with auto tune ? Who does he think he is ? Well if you care enough all these questions can be answered, all you have to do is press play.

But back to the review. I'll start off track by track like I usually do and as soon as you press play, you get what this whole album is going to be like. Say you will sets the mood and it's probably not what you expected from the leaks. The passion and direction Kanye is putting in is very blatant. However I believe this song is way too long, I actually got bored 3 minutes in and I really couldn't care less how it ended.

The next song is the whole album in one track. It has one of the best beats Kanye's ever produced ( up their but not quite touching flashing lights). It really stays true to the theme as well as giving you a proper introduction to the album.

I love heartless. The song is great, it's a story which fits almost every relationship. Anyone can listen to this song and relate.

Now what do I say about this one. I like it, Kanye sounds good to me with the auto tune aka vocal steroids. Turn your base up and this beat sounds beasty. It's possibly the most hip hop feely track on the whole album, even though in my opinion this hip hop feel ruins the track. Or maybe I'm just hating on Jeezy. This tracks aight.

Love Lockdown is okay I guess. I say that because at first I hated it, but this song is so catchy you actually can't hate it. I still don't like it but it's bearable.

The next two tracks are shit. I have nothing more to say about them maybe I'll grow to like them but some how I doubt it. They really don't fit the rest of the album once you listen to it, you'll understand what I mean.

This song to me displays how versatile this guy is. Street Lights is nice point blank .

And I'm gonna end the track by track there. You can comment on the other tracks if you wish. I'm gonna use this space to conclude my feelings about this album. I really didn't want to like this album, I really prefer Kanye rapping. So it comes off like I really like this album but I do believe it has it's weaknesses. It's really boring at times because Kanye isn't the best song writer. He repeats a lot of verses and lines or drops in a repetitive manner making the album very boring at times. Also it's by no means a hip hop album. To me it really felt like an RnB album. Kanye is new to everything he is doing artistically on this album and it really shows except in the production because he isn't new to that. It's actually a really really good album production wise. It's still not by any means Kanye's best though, I'd take the other 3 over this any day.

But due to his high standards I still have to give this album a 7/10. Guess this album wasn't that heartbreaking after all.

Imagine going to your local Rolex dealer and ordering a submariner. However before you receive your brand new Rolex the sales assistant hands you an options list allowing you to choose what you want on your new watch. Sounds awesome right ? Well Bramford's watch department have made this a possibility. By visiting their website you are able to customize features on your Rolex watch.
